This gallery showcases some of the past fathers of modern illustration.  I stretched back a bit to Frederick Remington because of his illustrative style and focus on a specific subject matter.

Another major addition is Howard Pyle.  An often overlooked turn of the centrury illustrator, author and art teacher.  Pyle instructed some of the biggest names in early illustration - most famous of them being N.C Wyeth.
